Attorney Tara R. Parker is a hardworking and dedicated general practice attorney whose primary focus is in the areas of family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Before opening her own practice, Attorney Tara R. Parker worked at the Legal Services of Eastern Michigan for two and a half years assisting low-income residents predominantly from Genesee County with various legal issues. Attorney Tara R. Parker graduated from Michigan State University College of Law with her Juris Doctor and recently earned a Masters in Public Administration. Personal Note
Hello! My name is Attorney Tara R. Parker. I entered the legal profession because I wanted to be in a position where my job would allow me to help people. And, what better place to help people than in the legal arena? A courtroom can be a particularly intimidating setting for the average citizen and, further, the occasion a person has to stand before a judge often is the result of a highly stressful event such as a divorce, criminal charge, breach of contract, etc. On top of that, the outcome of a person’s interaction with the court system can have a significant impact on the future of that individual as well as those close to him or her. For these reasons, I strongly advocate for the role attorneys play in reducing stress, ensuring that proper procedures are followed, and allowing a client’s voice to be heard and his or her rights to be effectively and zealously fought for.
